QAMP® (Quality Assurance Management Professional)

The QAMP® certificate demonstrates a broad understanding of software quality assurance management. It is directed at quality assurance managers, because they require competence in the entire development process.

In addition to a broad theoretical knowledge – which needs to be demonstrated by three successfully passed certification examinations – it attests the practical knowledge and project experience of the certified employee. Upon completion of all three certificates and proof of the practical experience, the participant will be certified as ASQF´s QAMP® (Quality Assurance Management Professional). Theoretical and practical knowledge both have to be updated biennial.

Since its introduction in 2008 QAMP® certifications were realized in over 20 countries worldwide. Global players like HP, Siemens, Samsung, IBM, Philips, T-Systems, SQS and Logica already are QAMP® customers.

As a token of appreciation for ASQF´s contribution to fight the shortage of skilled personnel in the sector of information and communication technology, the QAMP® certificate was awarded the special prize of Brandenburg´s Minister of Economic Affairs at the CEBIT conference.

Prerequisites
The qualification program is created to ensure IT personnel’s competence in the field of software quality assurance. The participants are required to complete three specially conceived training modules.

The certified party possesses standardised knowledge in the fields of:

• Requirements Engineering (IREB® CPRE, FL)
• Testing (ISTQB®/ISEB® CT, FL)
• Agile (iSQI´s CAT Certified Agile Tester)
• Specified Module (e.g. Test-, / Configuration-, / Innovation-, / Project Management / Secure Software Engineering / Software Architecture)

The owner also needs to have at least two years of professional experience in the field of software quality assurance.
 
Costs
Basic Registration fee: 400,- Eurpo (excl.VAT)

Re-Certification
Necessary every 24 months.

For Re-Certification evidence of up-to-date knowledge in the software development field needs to be proven.
